How
do I access loss files I need to see?
If you do not already have a secure Puritan PIN number, call
781-449-5552 (outside of Massachusetts, call 800-464-0063). A Puritan
representative will confirm your access privileges and issue you
a unique access code that ensures the confidentiality of your information.
Once you have logged into your "Flood Loss folder," you will see
an alphabetical listing of "Flood Fact Sheets" by address of incident
and date. Click on files you wish to examine and/or download.
How
do I download a Flood Fact Sheet?
All Flood Fact Sheets are configured for easy downloading and
storage. While viewing a Flood Fact Sheet on the web, choose "Save
As..." from the "File" menu to save the text portion
of the report.
Where
can I find pictures of the loss?
Pictures are attached to Flood Fact Sheets and follow immediately
after the text portion of the document. If you click on one of these
pictures you will see an enlarged copy of the same picture. Puritan
personnel typically take digital photographs and transcribe an Flood
Fact Sheet on arriving at the scene of a loss. The Flood Fact Sheet
and associated images are then uploaded to the Puritan Web server,
usually within 6 hours from time of first response.
What
if I can't see the pictures?
Pictures may not be visible for a number of reasons, among them:
1) Severity of flooding, requiring immediate attention of all available
Puritan personnel; 2) Technical difficulties in capturing and uploading
images; 3) Web inefficiencies and/or browser incompatibilities.
Incident files are optimized for viewing on Pentium class or better
PC systems running Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Please
contact Puritan immediately for clarification or support in resolving
any problems (781-449-5552, or outside of Massachusetts, 800-464-0083).
